behind closed doors

in life there are always things you aren’t made aware of. you think you know people, understand those close to you but in reality what about the actions of the people that didn't affect you? what if that girl really did like you back but never told you? what if that person searched for you online never to find you among the endless people with a similar name as yours? what if that person thought you were a great friend, but never got the chance to say thank you on the last day of school? what if your brother took all the blame and hurt for something you did, all so that you wouldn't get in trouble? what if it was because all they ever wanted was to see a smile on your face?

and what if you never existed? what if you weren't there to help someone when they were at their lowest? what if that thought of you made someones day? what if that one person changed their life just because of you? what if what if what if do the things you want to do, because one day what if might be all you have left.
